Cortana could soon have a male voice & Gender change option

Cortana happens to be a rather voluptuous artificial intelligence avatar, but on Windows Phone the nondescript circle could soon represent both a male or a female.

Gizmodo reports that Cortana will soon have the option for both a male or female voice.

At Microsoft’s Build 2015 developer conference, Cortana director of engineering Michael Calcagano told Gizmodo that the team had decided to give users more personality choices for the digital assistant, and that a male would be one. “If you want a dude, we’re doing it,” he said.

“Will it still be called Cortana as a male? I don’t know. Cortano?” He joked.
