Microsoft updates Several Windows 10 Mobile core apps
Several Windows 10 Mobile core apps have been updated today, presumably bringing a number of improvements and bug fixes. On the docket are Windows Camera, MSN Weather, Microsoft Photos, Outlook Mail, Outlook Calendar, and more.
Perhaps one of the most noteworthy changes are some new, updated tile animations for Microsoft Photos. The Live Tile gradually cycles through thumbnails of your photos, with a slight zoom affect after each switch. Overall, it’s a pretty neat effect, and a bit hypnotizing if you look at it for too long.
In all, we’re seeing updates for Windows Camera, MSN Weather, MSN Money, Microsoft Photos, Outlook Mail, Outlook Calendar, Groove Music, and Voice Recorder. It’s certainly a load of updates, and there may be others that trickle out as the evening goes on. So far, we haven’t picked out anything extremely noteworthy, but if you happen to notice anything, feel free to shout it out in the comments. Keep in mind that since these are universal apps, it’s likely that you’ll start seeing updates on Windows 10 desktops this evening as well.
